Peter Ampe


Peter has a unique track record combining 41 Cannes Lions and 12 effie awards. This mix of creativity and efficiency is a result of Peter’s preference for ideas that tap into the real world and become part of people’s daily lives.

Peter started out as a language teacher for political refugees and a journalist. At the age of 29 he joined the world of advertising, with a mission to make it less advertising and more authentic. In 2016 Peter was honoured with a Special Award for creative leadership that came with the turnover he achieved at DDB Brussels. But it’s not awards that keep him awake at night. It’s how to keep in touch with the real world and have an impact on it.

Co-author of Fame&Frame, a model combining creative magic and commercial logic, FamousGrey, 2018.

Author of "Handbook for the Head", DDB Brussels, 2014.
