Peter Ampe

Chief Creative Officer

Peter combines 35 Cannes Lions with 12 effie awards, making him one of Belgium's most influential creatives. In 2017 Media Marketing gave him a merit award for creative leadership for the turnover he achieved at DDB. Previously, Peter had similar successes with Happiness and Duval Guillaume. In 2018 Peter will be the only creative having a seat in the Belgian effie jury.

Ampe has an integrated and innovative approach, always linking what brands want to what people need.
His way of thinking is a result of his background: Peter started out as a journalist and he was also a Dutch teacher for political refugees. He only joined the advertising world at the age of 29, explaining why he prefers ideas and services that tap into the real world.

Ampe is responsible for a number of milestones in Belgian advertising: he gave his home country its first Gold Lion ever at the Cannes Lions Festival. Next to that he was also part of the team that won Belgium's first Gold Cyber lion, first Grand Clio, first eurobest Grand Prix in mobile and first design Grand Prix at Epica. Ampe was member of the jury in Cannes, Clio, LIA, eurobest and New York Festivals. He was president of the Jury of the Creative Club of Belgium (2014).
